With respect to the play order of audiobooks, Apple’s newest podcast player doesn’t allow for playlist building. The only option is to play oldest to newest or vice versa. Proper dating is needed for a seamless listening experience. I am saving for a Galaxy Note so I can finally have a battery capable of podcast listening that isn’t to Apple’s new failed software.

Interesting that Apple is turning back the clock on this technology.

      Go figure.

Hmmmmmm. “Podcasts” is the latest podcast audiobook player app by Apple. I listen to two or three audiobooks per week on a very long commute. I use an old iPhone 3gs as my ipod player. I use three different audiobook players to run three different books/podcasts for daily variety. Bookmark app is my favorite. Apple Podcasts app is merely irritating. If you take the time to learn a little more about the latest iTunes it may help you. Find an MP3 data editor and you should be fine for quirky problems. The newer iTunes changes are frustrating if you have podiobooks files but not insurmountable. I use Android, windows and IOS. IOS is stable “it just works.” I run TOMMW on itunes Podcast app only complaint is that it does not autosync unless I open the app. Just irritating.

Is amazon still holding back Full Share!?

      • Abbie says:

Hey, Nate, I heard you’d had a book in review on KDP for a week or something. If I were you, I’d contact them. On every occasion when I’ve contacted someone at KDP, they’ve been quick and civil. You can leave your phone number, and they call you back, so you’re not even on hold. I have had their automated system fail me before and had to get a human being involved, and I’ve never failed to achieve prompt results. Having a book hung up for a week is not normal in my experience.

Could poor ole’ FULL SHARE be held up because you can order the original for the grand old price of 13.90, 13.95 prime, and 9.14 for used? (paperback) Somebody is making a killing and probably is loath to change things. The others of the original titles are slightly less, but not by much. They should not even BE there, let alone for those outrageous prices. Hope if they sell any, you get something out of it. Somebody is!

  4. Sean says:

Maybe Amazon is trying to confirm who has publication rights…. And Ridan isn’t responding?

  5. memline says:

yeah, Sean, my thought exactly. I was trying to be tactful, but wasn’t very. Got kind of hot under the collar mid post. I wonder if they are actually selling the books? They could, theoretically, reprint them as needed. OK, rant over.

Nathan, please keep workin’ along. I want the new covers. They are so much prettier than the old ones. I can give the oldies as a gift and keep the new ones for myself. Three of my kids have now read your books, one even said he said “hi” to you as he rolled through Greeley (in a truck) but did not say how. We are all enjoying the experience. Keep chugging!
