Did your Dr. tell you to wear your glasses? I thought you wouldn’t need them anymore or they may need to be adjusted. Hmmm. New stuff coming out all the time. I have not reached this point yet. It is true I can’t see, but not because of cataracts. I have other issues so I am nosy and using you to know what is going on with some of my friends without asking intrusive medical questions. Sorry about that. They would probably answer, but I am so steeped in hippa, hippa, hippa, (basically, none of my business) that I can’t bring myself to ask. You talk about the surgery and I really am interested. Thank you!

Yeah. Doc said to wear the glasses to protect the eye against accidental injury. During the day I am supposed to wear them and at night I have a metal guard that I have to wear to bed.

After a week I can stop wearing that and I’m counting the nights.

My last appt with him is June 11 and after that I’m supposed to see my normal ophthalmologist and get a new prescription based on the implanted lenses.

Wow, sounds fantastic actually. I bet seeing will be a whole new experience for you. Enjoy it!
