Slooow day today. Really slow. And some news 🙂
Note: The audio is a bit noisy today for some reason. I ran a click-removal pass which cleaned up some of it but there are still a lot of odd peaks. Sorry about that.

Why in the world would someone be so pushy for the next books, rather than editing the stories already pretty much ready to go?
I ran into something similar to this, where someone complained that Mercedes Lackey had stepped over the line from greedy to mercenary because she chose not to write any more Diane Tregard stories, as they were her worst selling books, on top of the ones that caused the most nutcases to come out of the woodwork and threaten her. It’s like people think you’re obligated to write what they want, and not what you want to write, nor what will sell.
Congratulations on all your hard work to get the story out the door! It would be great if you could keep the writing momentum going and get edit done as well. But like you said on the talk, that has challenges. Best wishes on next tasks. Michael
