Hi Nathan,
If you do write some more short stories, you should consider submitting them to Asimov’s magazine or the fantasy equivalent. I think they’re good enough, and if they do pick some up, that would be great advertising for your other books. Plus you get money while still keeping basically all the rights! (except first serial, and a non exclusive right to use the story in later anthologies, I think.)
