Day 718: School Day

Today’s Thursday – which is the say I work with local high school kids. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m going to need a nap first.

So much for today’s productivity :/

Well, working with HS kids is productivity of a sort. Who knows, you may be tutoring the next Mercedes Lackey, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Anne McCaffrey, Bruce Coville or Samuel R. Delaney!

Looking forward raceing you to the 50k in Nanowrimo.

Nathan, I was just reading that the Society for Science & the Public ( publishers of Science News and creators of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair ), is now hosting a competition for young science fiction writers. Thought this might inspire some of your young students. http://isef.tomorrow-projects.com/enter-competition/

ps. I really enjoy walking with you in the morning. I’m generally a couple of days behind you but I figure if an old guy like you can get out and walk, then an old guy like myself can too.
