I was never too interested in American Idol, but the early episodes in the first seasons were kind of jaw dropping for me. Lots of variations of “those stupid judges don’t know anything; my mom says I’m a great singer!”
(By singers who were, um, vocally challanged!)
Wonder where the authors lost the part that communication is about getting a story out that people can understand and enjoy. If you are only talking with yourself, you won’t sell many books. That guy is an egotist. I wouldn’t bother trying to say anything to him; he won’t hear you.
