Another thought about South coast / Cape grace is that only about half of the fishing fleet is needed at any one time, yes some might be moving over to crabbing and the like but that leaves a lot of people only needed every other day.
This could mean that Jimmy could try and open up some of the other coast lines on the planet but that would cause problems with all the small details such as setting up the villages, convincing people to move away from where they grew up, which would easier for some than others which has its own issues of some wanting to move and other not wanting them to go.
Then there would be the issues with the company not wanting to pay for the expansion when they are meeting and exceeding the quota without having to pay out for the construction of the new villages.
Well you get the idea. It has been a little while since I have listened to south coast but I’m sure you did say something in there about opening up the other coasts lines at one point. Just a bit more food for thought.
