I cut it a bit fine on battery power. It buzzed when I walked back thru the door.

Listening to your discussion of the cities, I think you are right. I do know that you can definitely see a difference in the surface characteristics of the water based on the sea floor in the area.
So yeah, construction where you have an easier anchorage then moving them out a bit makes sense to me.
I think that some forms of modern oil rigs follow that model… but I could be mistaken.
I like the cities. I imagine them like Semi-sub oil platform but much larger. I work in the energy biz and these behemoths have always fascinated me. Check out the link for some basics on this type of platform.
