I have trouble believing you felt you were the only one who really gave a damn about keyboards. Just… *WOW*. Still… As I type on my venerable IBM Model M, I know exactly what you mean about a good solid key-click, and the snap as the spring buckles letting you know that the character has been *ENTERED*.
I do love my Model M – it’s old, but it’s *SOLID*. If need be, I can use it to beat the daylights out of someone interrupting me, and then go right back to typing. You really just can’t do that with the cheap ones sold these days.
I’ve been eyeballing Unicomp (www.pckeyboard.com) for when this one expires. Among other features that I admire, they have the full-size desktop keyboards with TrackPoint pointers (eraser-mouse). The big advantage of those for me is that I don’t have to take my fingers off the home keys to mouse around.
you can get credit cards at many grocery stores. Probably Wally worlds and Kmarts, etc, too. They are like phones. You can put as much money on them as you wish, the store activates them at the checkout stand and they can be used only up to the amount you put on it. Great for internet use. Very useful.
Yeah. Burners. I should do that.
