Day 885: Old And New

So, way back in the day, I used to record this on my Blackberry using a bluetooth headset. When I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 2, that function got replaced by a wired headset. The audio quality – when it worked – was generally great. You’re all aware of what happened when it didn’t work. This morning, I paired that earbud (replaced a couple of times since the days of Blackberry) with the new phone. It doesn’t have the same quality as the wire, but it also doesn’t have the scratching from my collar, or the clicks, or any of the other artifacts.

I think we’ve got a winner…

I didn’t mind the clicking with the old set up. It gave your talk a rhythm and when you are “talking not walking” it let me know my playback had not stopped.
The podcast today sounds like it has a lot of compression issues, the traffic in the background sounds like it is underwater. With the note set up if I was walking with headphones, I would turn around to look for a car, only to realize it was on the podcast . It was that good.
I won’t stop listening if it stays like this, but I may have to stop using headphones.
Glad to have you walking consistently.

Sounds good to me. I did find the clicking annoying.

Chili started life as spaghetti sauce? Interesting concept…
