Day 91: Interview With An Artist

My elder daughter decided she wanted to walk with me this morning. We talked about art … among other things.

  1. As much as I like the solo talk walk by Nathan, guests like Elder Daughter & Paulette Jaxton are delightful. Looking forward to Elder Daughter on episode 100 🙂

  2. Anita Lewis says:

Great insights into the artist’s mind! Thanks for the guest appearance.

  3. Debora says:

You have a teenage daughter who:

    1) Got out of bed to walk with you before sunrise
    2) Thinks you’re in your right place

You are two very fortunate people. 🙂

  4. This isn’t a comment on this particular podcast but a general one: they’re great! I need to walk for health, too, but self discipline has never been my strong point and it’s been hit and miss for months. That is, until I got a little player, and put a bunch of these podcasts on it. Now it’s a lot easier to get out there. In fact I often trudge along with a smile on my face or an interesting thought in my head and soon I will have a bounce in my step if this keeps up. StarShipSofa is good walking listening too, but if I just listen to your podcasts on a particular day I need two on a walk. So I’m gradually collecting the whole set so that when I’m caught up with the latest ones I can go back and pick up on older one. I just had to thank you for giving me that extra medicine I needed to get out there and do something good for myself. I love all your books too. Thank you so much for your work!

    • Nathan says:

Podcasts are great walking fodder. I usually listen to one for the first mile of my morning walk and then talk on the second mile.

      Thanks for listening 🙂

An excellent PodCast, oh I mean Podcast. 🙂 I have to say this one was exceptional. It was great to hear the thoughts of Elder Daughter and her insight into the artist process, which was a great mirror for your own. Amazing how that works. It was also an excellent reminder to all artists that there is nothing to fear from using an organic method. Very well done and looking forward, as always, to more episodes.

    Thank you!!!!!!!
