Day 962: Marching Onward

I managed to make myself walk this morning. I talked a lot about Cape Grace and why I’m on the wrong track with it. :/

Great to hear you today. You sounded good on my computer with your new electronic gizmo. 😀

Don’t think it seemed to pick up quite as many background sounds?

You should get some moleskin at Walmart or a pharmacy, and try that on your cracked heels when you get up each morning for your walks when the skin turns so dry. 🙂

Have a good day, Nathan. 😀

Sounds like you are trying to force two stories into one book.

Maybe you should commit a trilogy with Cape Grace being the direct sequel to South coast dealing with the problems of the failing fishing platforms.

Then write the third book as Sarah’s story. Maybe by her time, the shipyard went bust and the demand for food exports has fallen off. If the economy is shrinking and the company is starting to lay people off, that would give a reason for why Sarah is forced to leave the planet.

  3. David says:

The suggested trilogy could have a common theme with book 1 dealing with start of the fishing boom, book 2 dealing with the ongoing problems of the fishing boom and book three showing what happens when the boom comes to an end.
