    For what I think of as Space Opera, I recently enjoyed Fluency by Jennifer Foehner Wells. It’s an easy read. She snuck in a minor reference to The Princess Bride, another one to Star Trek & even mentioned old Cthulhu (in a joke); which all amused my lower self.
