Glad to hear Ish is making his voice heard. I think a lot of us have been wondering what’s going on in his world. And, hey, Sarah could always show up at Port Newmar.
It’s great to hear you upbeat and writing.
I think it’s been over a year since I last reread or relistened (I can’t remember which it was) to Ishmael’s books, but I am still excited to find out what comes next. He’s always been one of my favorite characters, even with his (many) flaws (or maybe because of them).
May you have many fun days of writing ahead of you.
I, too, am anxious to hear that you might have more assignments for Ish in his life… as opposed to just letting him while away his time between the flea market and some orbital hotel.
By the way, no need to search for a total ‘happy ending’. Bringing a book to a close on moments of contentment or understanding (as in the other six) are good enough for me. Besides, that situation always leaves the door open for additional volumes should the muses whisper yet more inspiration into your ear. 😉
