Just about the time I got settled in, the power died. It was out for almost two hours and I’m frustrated beyond measure. On top of it all, my main computer wouldn’t power up. Scared me.
And the day started out so well.

Hmm, that opens the door for Ish to hire Kurt as a replacement. You could have a “Jeeves and Wooster” vibe for the next set of books. Percy Herring is still out there somewhere, and David Burnside disappeared far too easily, I could see him wanting revenge on Ish for ruining his career.
You might start keeping the netbook charged so you can continue to write sans power.
if it scared you enough then i think your over due for a backup i use blu rays myself 25 GB at a time
