No walkies on Wednesday this week.
One of the way my arthritis expresses itself is in my fingers and toes. They swell up…look like they’re broken. Worse, they FEEL like they’re broken. This morning the little toe on my right foot began to swell. It’s the size of plumb right now and I’m pretty sure getting a boot on and walking for two miles in the morning won’t be A Good Idea.
Or even possible, for that matter.
Sorry, gang.
Ouch! Well, take care of yourself!
(And thanks for the heads up about “Swordsman of Carn Nebeth.” I just finished it, and its sequel. Both are great stories.)
Nate, you don’t owe us an apology. Take care of yourself! I’m sorry to hear you’re having such a horrible time. 🙁
No apology needed. Just look after yourself. Tomorrow is another day and we’ll talk to you then, whether you walk or not 🙂
Yes, yes, Nate. Please take good care and recover your good health.
Sounds like an extra hour to write?
Hope you’re feeling better tomorrow!
Living with someone with Fibromyalgia, believe me I understand. Focus the pain elsewhere and get back to it when you can.
I have been wondering one thing.
Did you start doing your periodic exercises before the pain began? If so, could the toe flare-up have been caused by impacts doing jumping jacks? Sit-ups/pull-ups/push-ups, etc., shouldn’t be an issue, but I wonder about the jumping jacks. Especially if you’re at home and just do them barefoot or in socks rather than putting on training shoes which would absorb impacts. Just a thought.
