   Get some rest, sar. Push the fluids. Stay warm, and try not to stress over delays. (I, myself, can understand, and, ‘It’s no fun.’ 🙂

   Since you seem to enjoy cooking, why not use these inclement periods to bake cookies or a cake for dinner for the family? You might find you’ve accomplished something unexpected.

   If you can’t walk, grab the vacuum cleaner or broom and putz about, or a dust cloth and just dab here and there.

   No set length of time for anything. Get up, look outside and raspberry the weather conditions. If nothing else, consider doing your walk/talk with an empty house whenever as you dust. 😉

   Okay, you can chase after me waving the broom, now. 🙂
