Latest check up with the eye surgeon:
Pressure is down to normal. Vision has cleared up remarkably.
Now I’m anxious to get the other one done because this is great! 🙂

Yippee!!!
Good news from this end. I’ve had sciatica for 9 days and it has hurt pretty bad. I finally went to urgent care today and got a shot of steroids and some pain killer and other good stuff. Boy is that feeling much better after about 4 hours. I think that is mostly the pain killer at this point, but relief is nice.
I meant “Yippee” for your news, of course. After posting it and then reading it again it sort of looks like I meant it for my news.
I do have some communication troubles. A good friend told me that 13 years ago when we first met she asked me if she looked as good as the picture she had sent me. Instead of saying something like “Better” or “Yes” I told her that she had a more prominent nose than I saw in the picture. I do not remember that, but she does after 13 years. Yeah, there are gaps in my social skills. LOL
I am very happy to hear this news! I can’t wait until the second eye is done, and you’re back to full steam ahead! Wonder if the high eye pressure was a reaction to anesthetic or other problems.
