Glad you’re back out and about! Thanks for reminding me of Dhalgren. I read it several times when I was in college in the late ’70s, and recall it as a puzzle, a kind of literary hallucination, but most def a classic. During your talk I downloaded it from the Big A to reread.
Can’t wait to see how my forty odd years of life and experience illuminates the book now!
A good walk and conversation, Nathan. You had joy in your voice that made me laugh that you made it out today.
Going out later in the day has merit. Warmer and daylight.
Note: Find your suitcase and fill it in your spare moments and you won’t be dashing ’round the house.
Have a great day, Nathan.
