Today is the day I’m asking for betas. I can use a half dozen people who can answer the question:
Does this story work?
I talked about what I’d like to hear about from betas in this morning’s talk. I’m also trying to get another 7k day in so … patience may be required.

Hi, Nathan
I would love to beta read again and am looking forward to giving input on the story.
Sharyl
I too would love to beta again.
Thanks,
Evan
I would like to beta read. I missed the last one.
Hi Nathan,
I would be honored to beta read Milk Run. I also beta’d In Ashes Born if that is useful.
I’d love to help again, but am going on vacation on the 3rd. If you finish in the next day or two I could read before I go, but if not, I’m sure you’ll get enough reader anyway. 😉
I would gladly beta read again. To help you know if the story works.
I will gladly be a beta reader again.
Cheers Eddy.
Hi Nathan,
I’d love to be a beta reader for the new story!
I’d like to volunteer to beta.
I would like to volunteer to be a beta reader.
Would love to help in any way I can.
I’d be happy to beta read again.
I’d be happy to beta read for you again. Probably do a two day turnaround.
I was a broadcast engineer for 30 years. I worked as an operational engineer. I didn’t design the stuff I just made sure it worked correctly and at the right time.
My time as a transmitter engineer was much like Ish’s time in environmental. Right down to the transmitter equivalent to a VSI. Once a day I have to take readings from every meter in all three transmitters (AM, FM & TV) I was responsible for.
Basically operational engineers spend their time tweaking & peaking & monitoring & monitoring & monitoring. As an example in camera control you set up the cameras. Make minor adjustments (tweaking) to make sure they are aligned properly. Make sure they are operating at best performance level (peaking). Then monitor them to see how the perform and adjust (tweak) as needed.
Things like cameras & mics need constant adjustment as conditions change. There are operations that must be coordinated with split second accuracy. Rundowns/logs are required & must be followed.
Transmitters are your basic “boring is good” cuz when it’s not boring the transmitters are down. The station isn’t making money & people want that fixed now.
Would happy to be a beta for “Milk Run.”
If there are any slots left, I’d love the opportunity to beta read for you again.
Too bad I can’t be a beta reader. ????
You’re an alpha reader.
*evil snicker* Yep!!!
I would love the chance to do another beta read. If you are still open, I can read it pretty quickly.
The email address on this comment bounced, George. Would you email me? nathan.lowell@gmail.com
Would love to beta again; hopefully not too late.
I’ve been a fan of the setting since the early days on Podiobooks, but haven’t been a beta reader before. If you still need readers I would be pleased and honored to help out. epub format is better for me. Now that I’m done voting on the Hugos I should have enough reading time available to devote to Milk Run.
Nathan,
If you still need them, I would love to be a beta reader.
Nathan,
I’ve been a silent fan since nearly the beginning of solar clipper series (found the podiobooks before they were published). I would love to beta read if you’re still looking for volunteers. I actually have a good amount of time now that my dissertation is defended.
Congrats on the Defense.
What’s your field?
