Day 1169: Halfway Through NovelRama

NovelRama is an event going on inside the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers group. The goal is 25k words in 4 days. It’s kind of like a mini-NaNoWriMo over a long weekend.

Unfortunately for most of the members, it’s not actually a long weekend. Anyway, the daily target is 6250 words. I set a slightly higher one at 7000 words a day and I’ve made those counts. Two more days …

In terms of NovelRama, what happens on Tuesday? Do you share what you’ve accomplished (word count or actual content) with RMFW?

    • Nathan says:

      Word counts.

We’ve also been sharing word counts, lessons learned, and doing write-ins. The write-ins are too far away for me to go to (and I wouldn’t go even if they were in Greeley) but we’re using it to bring the larger organization into the world of the indie writer and show them things that they can do even if they’re working with agents and publishers.

We all need new content regularly, after all
