I’m late posting this morning. In part because I didn’t get out until late and in part because I’m trying to run off the new machine. I’m not sure if these files are coming through ok or not.

Considering I got it within 45 mins of your posting (since it wasn’t there at one time, and was there the next time I tried 45 mins later). Oh, well. These challenges happen.
Fedora Core does not play well with ATI cards. I have had the black screen several times and it is almost always the video driver that is installed by default. You can usually get to a prompt (can’t recall how in FC) and install the ATI video drivers from the command line. That most often works.
