I made it finally, and took a walk this morning. It was a walk down memory lane up Dutton Hill Road where I spent most of my formative years. It’s a long one at 26 minutes.

    Wonderful trip this morning, Nathan. We got two pictures this morning. The one on twitpic is the place where you grew up and is this one on the blog your sister’s farm?

    It’s so delightfully strange to have you in the same time zone! I was thinking of Stephen King’s accident as you spoke about being careful not to get hit by a car….you know…Maine driver’s have it in for Maine writers….and then you spoke the words. Wow….
    So, yes, all the “VTIs (vocational technical institutes) are now community colleges.
    And, I think I remember reading or hearing somewhere along the way that our memory of smells is stronger than some of our other recollections.
