I made it finally, and took a walk this morning. It was a walk down memory lane up Dutton Hill Road where I spent most of my formative years. It’s a long one at 26 minutes.

Wonderful trip this morning, Nathan. We got two pictures this morning. The one on twitpic is the place where you grew up and is this one on the blog your sister’s farm?
There was definitely a rich feeling coming through your talk. Thanks so much for sending it!
Yes, the posted picture on the blog is my sister’s farm. It was gray and overcast all day.
The twitpic was the family homestead–built in 1823. Seems odd. My niece lives there now.

Thanks!
Thanks for providing the link, Anita. I’m not spending a lot of time online while I’m visiting. 🙂

So, yes, all the “VTIs (vocational technical institutes) are now community colleges.

Welcome home, friend.
Ahhh, those thrifty Maine folks—– Why pay more when duct tape works so well. The hint you gave with the sign, too. Why make a new sign when it just needs a new screw or two. I love it.
