The error is mounting. I needed to be at 66k yesterday to stay on track for 200k by the end of the month. I talked a bit about that today. I need to be at 72k by the end of the day to recover. Oye.

Only you would have written 62000 words in the last 10 days and talk about the “error” ;). You’ve aimed at a big goal (okay, a massive, colossal, gargantuan goal), but this might be one of those cases where margins of error are still a freaking awesome result…
Better a lower word count with high quality writing than exhausting yourself to push the count up to meet a goal you set yourself, don’t you think?
Not sure about that, Joyce. Pushing myself to exhaustion .. yeah. that’s not good.
Striking while the iron’s hot. Make need to sacrifice a little.
There’s probably some middle ground.
