I don’t think the recorder recognized the wired mic. I couldn’t tell until I got it home and listened. I’ll post it because – with patience – you can probably make out what I’m saying.
But I won’t be disappointed if you skip it.

All is well. I am happy that you found a new phone. Sad that it may not be as good as your old one. Hopeful that it just a config issue, and you will find the phone awesome after a few tweaks.
